John Millman is one of the most admired players in Aussie tennis, and one of the hardest workers, having bounced back from serious injuries throughout his career. He showed great determination to return from a shoulder reconstruction and groin surgery stronger and better than ever, representing Australia as an Olympian and as a key member of our Davis Cup team. In March Millman’s heroics were pivotal in getting Australia through to the finals scheduled for later this year.

John loves a round of golf with mates, and is also a big NFL fan. He admits to barely sleeping the night he beat Roger Federer at US Open 2019 because his fantasy football draft was being held the next morning!
At AO 2020, John went within a whisker of again ousting Roger, going down in a dramatic fifth set tiebreak.
Post match Fed said about John “he’s a great player….has a great attitude…I have so much respect.”
John’s earned the respect of the entire tennis world with his honest approach to life, his heart and who he is as a person. He never gives up.
John Millman embodies the IC values – fair play, respect and friendship – making him an ideal Player Ambassador for BTT.
