The International Club of Australia

The IC is Australia’s tennis alumni, comprising former Davis and Fed Cup players, ATP and WTA world ranked players and Grand Slam competitors, joining together beyond the tour. Established in 1951, the IC Australia upholds the traditions of friendship and goodwill between players and countries and strives to meet the needs and expectations of retired players as the tennis journey has evolved over time.

The IC Australia’s membership base forms part of the international IC movement comprising an incredible network of more than 40 countries. Our cohort also includes, by invitation, associate members who have contributed to the game in other significant ways.

The IC ideals of connection, caring and building a strong former player community are brought to life through the Beyond the Tour initiative. Retiring players are invited to join the IC, attend events and offered mentors along with other appropriate support as they transition away from the tour. We reach out to any of our tennis family members in need of advice or support.

This is IC Australia’s focus into the 2020’s.

Membership of the IC not only provides the opportunity to retain friendships, play at some of the world’s finest tennis clubs and host international teams, but also to promote philanthropy. In conjunction with the IC’s philanthropy program and the Kids Tennis Foundation, IC Australia assists underprivileged young people to play tennis through the Ken Rosewall Regional Project (KRRP).

‘Hands across the net friendships across the ocean’

Being a part of the IC Australia enriches the lives of our former player community.
